Health Care FSA

Change of Status

A Change of Status will enable a participant in the Health Care FSA to change his or her annual election amount.  Some common examples of these qualifying events are:

Birth

Death

Loss or gain of coverage

Marriage

Divorce

Adoption

The change to the annual election amount must be consistant with the change in status, and that change must be acceptable under the Regulations issued by the Department of Treasury.
